Prices start at : $120 per night for 2 persons plus $20 for each extra person (older than 3 years). But when you stay four or more nights, the rate reduces. In fact if you stay seven or more nights the rate is only $90 (2 persons plus $10 for each additional person)!

The Settlers hut offers Blue Derby budget accommodation just 8km from the trail head in Derby, Tasmania. This budget Blue Derby accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen, laundry facility and separate bathroom. The cottage is well insulated and is heated/cooled with an electric heat pump–all powered by our onsite solar PV, Tesla batteries and micro-hydro generator.
Please note we have a two-night minimum for reservations during some public holidays year, and three-night minimum over the Christmas to New Year period (19 December to 7 January).
